Experienced dancers and beginners are equally welcome.
The programme/crib for the forthcoming class is available a few days in advance here
Dances, attended by our own members and friends from other societies, are held in Autumn and Spring and a New Year Ball in January. We are also one of the five local scottish societies the West MACS (West Middlesex Association of Caledonian Societies) who collaborate in running a Charity Ball in April. We also hold an informal mid-week dance in December and May/June.
Highland Dance classes are held at the same venue from 7.15 pm on alternate weeks,
The class is largely comprised of adult beginners but all are welcome.
2014 began with a very well attended new year ball at Allum Hall in Elstree, dancing to Frank Reid's Band. In March dancers from other local societies joined us for our spring dance in Eastcote, dancing to Ian Muir (Prestwick) and Bob Parsons, and five local societies collaborated in the West MACS Charity Ball, dancing to the Craigellachie Band, in aid of Kidney Kids Scotland. Our summer dance in June was an enjoyable end to our 2013-14 programme. We returned to Eastcote for our autumn dance and rounded off 2014 with a suitably festive mid-week Christmas dance at our regular class venue in North Harrow.
