Some of our core activities

Dance classes take place on Wednesday evenings, 8.00 pm, St Alban's Church Hall, Norwood Drive, N. Harrow.
Experienced dancers and beginners are equally welcome.

Burns Night is celebrated close to 25th January.  In 2024 we will hold it at the Blue Check restaurant in Bushey on Friday 19th January with  Orator Janet McNulty (great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Burns) - bookings now open, closing date 19th December. In 2023 we met in Ruislip with Orator Jim Henderson (our Chieftain, and Honorary Life President of the Burns Club of London).  Our 2022 and 2021 Burns celebrations were held online due to the pandemic restrictions, with orators Kirsteen McCue in 2022 and Derek Darnell in 2021.  Previous orators have been Andrew Glennie, Wylie White , Adrian Moorman, Jane Brown (former president of the Robert Burns World Federation), Clark McGinn, James Fields, James Fairbairn, Bill Henry, and in 2011 Janet McNulty (great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Burns) proposed the principal toast to the immortal memory of Robert Burns.

St Andrew's-tide is celebrated with a Ceilidh with entertainment provided by a number of our members plus a chance for all to join in the dancing and singing.

Other activities include social evenings, rambles, book club, gardening group and outings to places of interest

Please explore the website for further information on all the above or email mail@harrowscottish.org.uk for more information.

We look forward to welcoming you to some of our activities.
